How to Make It
1. Step
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
2. Step
Cut the apples in half through the stems, then use a spoon to scoop out the core and seeds.
3. Step
In a small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, melted coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
4. Step
Brush the apples all over with the spice oil, spooning any remaining oil into the hollow cores.
5. Step
Set the apples, cut-side up, in the air fryer basket and cook until tender and the tops are golden brown, about 8 minutes.
6. Step
Meanwhile, make the crumble topping: In a small bowl, mix together the oats, flour, raisins, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
7. Step
Spoon the crumble topping into the center of each apple half, dividing evenly. Air-fry for another 1–2 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown.
8. Step
Transfer the apples to plates and serve warm with vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, and a dusting of ground cinnamon.
