5 cups brussels sprouts (500 g), halved
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup smoked bacon lardons (250 g)
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 ½ cups walnuts (150 g), chopped
1 teaspoon honey
½ cup grated parmesan cheese (55 g)
¼ cup olive oil (50 mL)
1 cup shallots (100 g), chopped
1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorn

How to Make It
1. Step
Add the butter and oil to a frying pan on a medium heat and then add the chopped garlic and shallots, sweat for 4 minutes

Add the bacon lardons and cook through for another 4 minutes

Add the Brussels sprouts, walnuts, parmesan cheese and pepper and saute for 15 minutes or until the sprouts are soft to the bite
