Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese (225 g), softened
¼ cup sugar (50 g)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 honeycrisp apple, or apple of your choice
Maple Pecan Sauce
1 cup whipping cream (240 mL)
¾ cup maple syrup (250 g)
½ cup crushed pecan (60 g)
Optional Topping
graham cracker, crushed
How to Make It
1. Step
Mix cream cheese, and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
2. Step
Hollow the apple with a melon baller.
3. Step
Fill ⅔ of hollowed apple with cream cheese mixture.
4. Step
Bake 25-30 minutes at 176˚C (350˚F).
5. Step
For maple pecan sauce, boil whipping cream and maple syrup until thick. Stir in pecans just before serving.
6. Step
Serve with crushed graham cracker (optional) and maple pecans sauce.
